The Mohawk Nation Council of Chiefs announces the
installation of three condoled titles as set forth under the Kaianereserakowa.
On April 30th, 2005 about 350 people met at the Mohawk Nation
Longhouse to witness the raising of the following Mohawk titles.
Under the Wolf Clan title Orenrekowa, they condoled
Iothore/Howard Thompson, Roiiane. He
joins the rest of his condoled family: Kawisenhawe/
Elizabeth Hopps, Iakoiane (Clan Mother) and the Kaieriniioriwake (male and
female faithkeepers) are Kahionhate/ Stanley “Hodge” Jacobs and Kawisaienne/Margaret
Laffin.
Under the Wolf Clan title Sarenhowane, the following
were condoled: Kahentakeron/ Ernest David, Roiiane.
Kahentetha/ Angela Elijah, Iakoiane.
Teharonio/ Joe David, Raterontanonha (Tends to the Tree/ Understudy).
The Kaieriniioriwake are Skahendowaneh Swamp and Kanotawaks/Audrey
Thompson.
Under the Bear Clan title Tehanakarine (De hen na ka ri neh)
Dragging Horns, Arihote (Curtis Nelson), is the condoled Roiiane.
Tewakierahkwa (Louise McDonald) is the condoled Iakoiane.
Aronhiaies Herne is the condoled Raterontanonha.
The Kaieriniioriwake are Karahkwiio McDonald and Wahsaninen McDonald.
